Welcome to West Lane Tech

West Lane Technical Learning Center (WLTLC) is a public online charter high school located in Elmira, OR. WLTLC combines the independence of a self-directed online education with individualized support for students. Our program maintains an open, accessible computer lab with highly qualified teachers available throughout the school day. Teachers monitor student progress on a daily basis.In addition, WLTLC supports an automotive and electric vehicle program for students wanting hands-on learning activities.

student at a computer The goal of the West Lane Technical Learning Center (WLTLC) is to meet the educational needs of a diverse group of students who are currently experiencing difficulty with the traditional services offered by local public school districts. To meet these students' needs, WLTLC integrates academic, vocational and technical skills into a program of study.This hybrid school emphasizes collaborative learning with the blending of computer based and face to face instruction to create a supportive, flexible learning environment. Through the development and achievement of an individualized personal education plan (PEP), students will work on developing life skills, attain a high school diploma, acquire career related skills and become productive citizens.
