Auto AcademyProgram Overview:

The West Lane Automotive Academy is a professional training
program for high school students interested in pursuing a career in automotive or mechanical technology. This is a two year program of study for 11th or 12th grade high school students. The program is open to students at any local high school and the program is located on the West Lane Tech campus. This is two year program that utilizes the LJ AutoLAB Training System based on the NATEF skills sets developed by National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). This program is articulated directly with Lane Community College Automotive Program and offers both high school and college credit. The goal of the program is to provide students with a pathway of training from high school that leads to advanced training at the community college and results in completion of an associate degree and professional employment in the automotive field.
